(NASDAQ:CBAY), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for liver and other chronic diseases with high unmet need, today announced that it intends to offer and sell 10,000,000 shares of its common stock, subject to market and other conditions, in an underwritten public offering. In connection with this offering, CymaBay Therapeutics, Inc. expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,500,000 additional shares of common stock.
