Global Eagle Entertainment Names Kevin Trosian to Run Corporate Development and Investor Relations

LOS ANGELES, July 31, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global Eagle Entertainment (Nasdaq:ENT), a worldwide leading provider of integrated in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions for airlines, has hired Kevin Trosian in the newly created role of Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations. He will report directly to Dave Davis, CEO of Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE).

Trosian joins GEE following a successful track record in technology and financial markets in the past two decades. Prior to joining GEE, Kevin led corporate development and investor relations as a Vice President at Mindspeed. Previously, he led capital markets initiatives at solar manufacturer Power-One as Vice President of Finance and Investor relations. Earlier in his career, Trosian held the role of Senior Analyst and Vice President of Equity Research at both Wedbush Morgan Securities and Banc of America Securities (now Bank of America/Merrill Lynch) and was ranked by StarMine as a leading analyst for the companies he covered.

Trosian received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, and a BA degree in English from the University of California at Los Angeles.
