Lou Centofanti

Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Centofanti has served as Chairman of the Board since he joined the Company in February 1991. Dr. Centofanti also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from February 1991 until September 1995 and again in March 1996 was elected to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. From 1985 until joining the Company, Dr. Centofanti served as Senior Vice President of USPCI, Inc., a large hazardous waste management company, where he was responsible for managing the treatment, reclamation and technical groups within USPCI. In 1981 he founded PPM, Inc., a hazardous waste management company specializing in the treatment of PCB contaminated oils, which was subsequently sold to USPCI.

From 1978 to 1981, Dr. Centofanti served as Regional Administrator of the U.S. Department of Energy for the southeastern region of the United States. Dr. Centofanti has a Ph.D. and a M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Youngstown State University.


 

Ben Naccarato

Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, and Secretary

Mr. Naccarato, who joined Perma-Fix in September 2004, has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since February 2009 and served as Vice President Corporate Controller from 2006 through 2009. Mr Naccarato has over twenty years experience in senior financial positions in the waste management and used oil industries. Prior to joining Perma-Fix, Mr. Naccarato served as Chief Financial Officer for Culp Petroleum Company Inc, a fuel distribution and used waste oil company. Prior to that he spent fourteen years at Safety-Kleen Corp, in various corporate and operational positions.

Mr. Naccarato is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto.


 

Robert J. Schreiber, Jr.

President, Schreiber, Yonley & Associates 

Mr. Schreiber is the president of Schreiber, Yonley & Associates, Perma-Fix's environmental engineering consulting group, since 1992. Mr. Schreiber is an internationally recognized environmental engineer with over 25 years of experience. Prior to joining Perma-Fix, Mr. Schreiber was Vice President of Lafser and Schreiber Inc. Between 1974 and 1985 he held a variety of positions with the State of Missouri Department of Natural Resources including Director for Environmental Qualities and Director of Air Pollution Control. Mr. Schreiber holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
