Charles Vinick
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Charles Vinick was appointed Chief Executive Officer on January 18, 2011. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Vinick was Executive Chairman effective August 1, 2010. Mr. Vinick has served as a director since August 2006 and has served as the Chairman of the Board since December 22, 2009. Until December 2010, Mr. Vinick served as Director of Business Development and Government Relations for Dehlsen Associates, a renewable energy technology development firm in Carpinteria, California. Mr. Vinick has more than 25 years of experience directing and managing organizations and programs. From June 2005 through August 2007, Mr. Vinick was the Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Santa Barbara City College from June 2004 through May 2005 and as Vice President of Fritz Institute from October 2003 to March 2004. Mr. Vinick was Executive Vice President of the Ocean Futures Society from its founding in 1998 through September 2003. Including the Ocean Futures Society, Mr. Vinick has previously held executive positions for over 20 years with organizations headed by Jacques or Jean-Michel Cousteau.


Dennis E. McGuire
Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Mr. McGuire is the founder of Ecosphere Technologies and the chief inventor of our intellectual property. Mr. McGuire currently serves as Chief Technology Officer. From July 2009 until January 2011, Mr. McGuire served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer. During the years 2005-2008, Mr. McGuire served in various roles as it’s President, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. McGuire became President and Chief Executive Officer of Ecosphere in October 2005.

Mr. McGuire guides the development of innovative clean water processes and technologies, drawing on his two decades of research and development with the cavitating energy properties of water and using energy in water for environmental water treatment applications. Mr. McGuire has earned global recognition for his accomplishments that are now represented by numerous patents and patent pending rights in the major markets the Company's technologies serve globally. In 2010 Mr. McGuire received on behalf of Ecosphere Technologies three U.S. patents from the U.S Patent Office for the Ecosphere Ozonix technology. These important patents were approved under the Green tech Fast Track program the U.S. Patent Office initiated for environmental technologies to move more rapidly in to industry. Mr. McGuire received a top-ten finalist award from Discover Magazine and the Innovation of the Year award from Ship Repair Magazine for his patented environmental coating removal technologies. He also received London's Seatrade Magazine Award for countering marine and atmospheric pollution.

Mr. McGuire has been instrumental in forming eco-alliances with Carnival Cruise Lines, the Shaw Group, Pierce Manufacturing, BAE Systems, Williams, Newfield Exploration, BP, and Southwestern Energy. Mr. McGuire pioneered the concept of recycling frac flowback water "at the well site" in the natural gas industry using high volume mobile water treatment units that reduce CO2 emissions and hauling and disposal costs for energy companies.


Adrian G. Goldfarb
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Goldfarb joined the Company as CFO in February 2008. Mr. Goldfarb has more than 25 years experience in a number of different technology companies, including IBM and a Fujitsu subsidiary. In addition to extensive international experience in a variety of management roles, he served as General Manager for the European affiliate of The Weather Channel and was responsible for turning around its European operations after multiple years of losses under previous management. He has most recently been involved in the private equity space, both as a management consultant and investor and recently concluded the sale of one of those companies to a large European investment group. Mr. Goldfarb also serves on the board of GelStat Corporation and is head of their Audit Committee.  Mr. Goldfarb specializes in the turnaround and growth of emerging companies with a focus on strategic planning and prudent financial management.


Michael R. "Mickey" Donn, Sr.
Chief Operating Officer

Michael R. “Mickey” Donn, Sr. currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Company. Mr. Donn previously served as a consultant, Director of Communications, Managing Director, Senior Vice President of Operations, Executive Vice President, and Treasurer for Ecosphere Technologies, as well as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ecosphere Systems, since 2000. Mr. Donn was Project Manager for Ecosphere’s EPA verification testing of its water filtration system and has served on the Board of Directors since March 2005. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Donn served as President of the 1700-member Miami-Dade County Fire Fighters Association, for which he previously served as Vice President and Treasurer since 1982. Mr. Donn coordinated relief efforts for the Miami-Dade fire fighters following Hurricane Andrew. Additionally, he set up and coordinated the Ecosphere relief effort in Waveland, MS following Hurricane Katrina. From 1978 to 1980, Mr. Donn conducted day-to-day operations of Dade Oil Company as General Manager.


Jacqueline McGuire
Senior Vice President of Administration and Corporate Secretary

Jacqueline McGuire has served as a Company officer since April 1998. Since January 2001, she has served the Company as Senior V. P. of Administration. Her responsibilities have included recruiting and supervising all administrative staff, as well as coordinating all company travel and costs, reviewing all expense reporting and managing administrative contract office equipment services. Additionally, her duties include coordination of the Company equity transactions and maintenance of the Company shareholder records and Board of Directors communications and meetings. Ms. McGuire formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Amclean Inc., an ultra-high-pressure coatings and removal contractor, from 1992 until 1997. Her duties included extensive travel to Europe to negotiate with equipment manufacturers on pricing, delivery and terms.
